1. Who we are
MediaPostify ("we", "our", "us") is a social media automation platform operated at https://mediapostindia.netlify.app. We help content creators automatically repost YouTube content to Instagram and Facebook.
For privacy questions, contact us at privacy@mediapostify.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign up, we collect your email address and name via Supabase Auth (email/password or OAuth).
Platform credentials
When you connect your Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube account, we receive OAuth access tokens issued by Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google (YouTube). These tokens are AES-256-GCM encrypted before being stored in our database. We never store your Facebook or Google passwords.
Content and usage data
We store the YouTube URLs you submit, the videos we download and process on your behalf, captions you configure, and a log of posts made to each platform.
Technical data
We collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and debugging purposes.
3. How we use your information
- To authenticate you and maintain your session
- To post content to your connected social media accounts on your behalf
- To track posting history and display analytics in your dashboard
- To send you Discord notifications about posting activity (if configured)
- To respond to support tickets you submit
- To improve the platform and diagnose technical issues
We do not sell your data. We do not use your content or social account data for advertising.
4. Facebook and Instagram data
MediaPostify uses the Meta Platform API to post content to Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts on your behalf. Specifically:
- We request only the permissions needed to publish content and read page engagement
- Access tokens are stored encrypted and used solely to execute posting actions you initiate
- We do not access your personal Facebook timeline, messages, or friend list
- We do not share your Meta data with third parties
- You can revoke our access at any time via Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
Our use of Meta Platform data complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
5. Google and YouTube data
MediaPostify uses the YouTube Data API v3 to upload videos to your YouTube channel on your behalf. We request only youtube.upload and youtube.readonly scopes. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, or other Google services.
Our use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:
- Your platform credentials and access tokens are deleted immediately
- Your video queue and posting history are deleted within 30 days
- Anonymized aggregate usage data may be retained for analytics
7. Data sharing
We share your data only with the following processors, solely to operate the service:
- Supabase — database and authentication (EU/US servers)
- Netlify — web hosting (US servers)
- GitHub Actions — automated posting pipeline (US servers)
- Cloudflare R2 — temporary video file storage (if configured)
We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party.
8. Security
All platform access tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We follow industry-standard security practices and conduct regular reviews of our data handling procedures.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@mediapostify.com or delete your account from the dashboard settings page.
10. Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
